Monginis to help a girl get educated

Monginis, the Goa-based bakery and fast food firm, has decided to have social parenthood of a girl child from economically weaker section of society.

According to the press note, the child will be given financial support for education from first standard, till the completion of her studies. "It is a social obligation we are fulfilling by utilising part of our profits for this noble cause", said Datta Naik, CEO of the New Millennium Bakers.

Monginis has also expanded their existing plant at the Verna Industrial Estate to cope up with rising demand for Monginis cakes, biscuits and breads in Goa. Zoher Khorakiwala, Managing Director of Monginis foods Pvt. Ltd. inaugurated the second phase of expansion of Monginis Plant.

Monginis has a chain of 18 cake shops in Goa while it plans to open seven more cake shops including at Sawantwadi and Karwar. Besides Goa, Monginis products are also manufactured in Mumbai, Pune, Nasik, Rajkot, Vadodara, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Cairo in Egypt.
