BJP prepared to prove majority in House

Chief minister Manohar Parrikar has staked claim to form the government and told Governor Mohammed Fazal that he will prove the majority on the floor of the House.

After returning from Raj Bhavan, Parrikar said it is now up to the Governor to take a right a decision and communicate it to them.

He once again reiterated that he can muster majority to form a coalition government in the state, but declined to specify which parties he was referring to.

"We are talking to all of them", he said, adding that he is not averse to even seek support of sole NCP legislator Dr Wilfred de Souza.
