The full-fledged cabinet of Digambar Kamat government was
finally sworn in today morning, with eight more ministers.
Six Congressmen, who were inducted, are Dayanand Narvekar,
Joaquim Alemao, Pandurang Madkaikar, Filip Neri Rodrigues,
Babu Azgaonkar and Alexio Sequeira.
NCP MLA Micky Pacheco and independent MLA Vishwajeet Rane
also found a berth in the 12-memebr cabinet of the Congress-led
alliance.
They were all administered oath of secrecy by Governor S
C Jamir at a simple ceremony held at Raj Bhavan today morning.
Victoria Fernandes has been offered the post of parliamentary
secretary, Kamat told media persons after the ceremony.
"It depends on her whether to accept or reject the offer.
I have inducted them as per the list approved by the high
command", he added.
Victoria did not attend the ceremony.
Kamat also informed that the portfolios would be allotted
by tomorrow morning.
