"I am honoured and privileged that my movie leads the
other feature films" director Shyama Prasad said expressing
happiness that his movie got the place as an opening feature
film in the Indian Panorama section.
Ore Kadal is a 123 minutes coloured drama-cum-family movie
casting Mammootty playing the pilot role opposite actress
Meera Jasmine. The film is a blend of values and diverse experiences
of life with some hidden aspects of romance.
The 24 minutes Bengali movie is a story about a 10-year young
boy who struggles to survive and finding own way at a metro
station in Humdrum, Kolkata.
The director while addressing the crowd at the screening
centre said, "I was given just four tapes with a 40 minute
capacity for this movie. It was a tough job. But I managed
to make it a successful one and the result is that it is being
screened as a opening non-feature film in the Indian Panorama,"
he said.
