Parrikar-Babush to
prepare Goa-centric RP

"I and Babush Monseratte have agreed to prepare a Goan-centric
Regional Plan, hence there is no problem in aligning with
him."
This is the way BJP leader Manohar Parrikar justified his
action to form an alternate government with Monseratte's support.
The question was raised by the media persons since Parrikar,
during elections, had repeatedly announced that he would never
align with Monseratte for the sake of power.
He had also vowed not to sit in the chief minister's chair
unless he gets absolute majority of 21. The BJP won only 14
seats.
According to Parrikar, his old announcement to align with
Monseratte is a non-issue since Regional Plan 2011 has been
scrapped.
"Why should I consider Monseratte my permanent enemy
just because of one issue of Regional Plan", he asked
the media persons.
On the other hand, Monseratte claimed that the real people
behind the Regional Plan are presently with the Congress-led
coalition.
"I will expose them when time comes", he said,
when media persons asked him to name them.
