The political drama continued with the MLAs of the BJP-led
alliance shifting to Mumbai while the Congress-led alliance
legislators shifting to Taj Resorts at Candolim.
Both the camps led by Manohar Parrikar and Digambar Kamat
met governor S C Jamir, who arrived from Delhi today evening.
The BJP has also filed no-confidence motions against both
speaker Pratapsing Rane and deputy speaker Mauvin Godinho.
In retaliation, it is learnt, that the Congress is planning
to file disqualification petition against Dhavalikar brothers
of the MGP. However, nobody could confirm it.
According to Parrikar, the governor has assured them to take
steps as per the constitution.
As the picture would be clear only on Monday when the House
assembles, both the camps have preferred to go into hiding
in order to avoid any kind of horse-trading.
