Anna reminds PM of Mahatma's economy model

Taking a dig at Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for encouraging foreign companies to prep up economy, social activist and Gandhian Anna Hazare has reminded him of the preaching of late Mahatma Gandhi.

“Gandhi had said that if we want to improve economy of the country, we need to work on improving economy of the villages,” Hazare said participating in the ThinkFest conclave in Goa today.

“Prime minister says we cannot improve the economy without inviting the foreign companies, which is absolutely wrong,” he commented, adding that “he has himself proved that working in villages can help improve the economy.”

“I have worked in several villages without any foreign funding. The villages where people were living empty stomach, we have brought in change and now they are exporting vegetables,” he narrated.

Hazare said that it is not fair to invite foreign companies and hand them over our land and minerals. “Not just corruption but we have to tackle issues like human rights and environment,” the social activist added.

Responding to the allegations that he is a B team of BJP or has association with RSS, Hazare said “this is not new. The tree which bear fruits attracts maximum stones.”

“I will walk on my path of truth. Let anyone criticize me,” he commented.

It is totally wrong to call Anna and his team the 'B' team of the BJP.

Anna is equidistant from all the political parties.

Everybody has forgotten Gandhiji by now. Politicians are only using the name of the great Mahatma for their selfish interests of getting votes.

Anna is the closest living person in the world today to the Mahatma Gandhi and should be respected.

He has already made it clear that he has no political ambitions.

Let the Parliament take care of the FDI. Our core issues are Lok Pal, Lok Ayukta and strengthening the Panchayats and 73/74th Amendment to tackle corruption. The other issues one at a time. If there were few good people who were above corrupt practices with no tolerance to corruption, whatsoever, India would be a happy place to live in. No brain drain into enriching other great nations at our cost.

Congress is the party of corrupt people. Only corruption is the mission of the party. Ever since the independence, congress has breed corrupt politicians. There are no leaders in this party. Only politicians who loot and hoard the black money. India is a democratic country only for the names sake. Every were, in each and every state of India, and in particular all the congress ruled states are the worst dens of corruption. All politicians have looted the local governments some how or the other. Mr.Mounmohan is one of the Gandhian monkey who can see, hear but cannot speak. Every one from that party has forgotten the mission of Mahatma Gandhi. They are busy in accumulating wealth for themselves and their future generations. In India, politics is the best business to make quick buck. And that too in crores within a span of few years. you don't need to be educated to be a politician Neither you need to be rich. Even criminals can contest the elections. It is a banana country of mango people, ruled by congress. Obviously, Mr. Mounmohan and Madame would permit FDI in retail sector.
