  1. Duration: 4 hours
  2. Topic will be given on the spot
  3. Presentation of topic, colour combination and effectivity of the picture will be considered
  4. Slogan is a must

Brekantar (Advertisement)

  1. Duration – Maximum 3 minutes
  2. Maximum 6 participants allowed
  3. Advertise a product (like on TV), using dance, music and slogans
  4. Concept, script and creativity will have consideration

Monell (Mime)

  1. Duration - 5 minutes
  2. Only 3 participants on the stage allowed
  3. Facial expression and body movement will have consideration
  4. No property allowed on the stage
  5. Background music/sound is allowed permissible

Khell (Street Play)

  1. Duration - 7 minutes
  2. Minimum 5 participants a must
  3. No sound system will be provided or allowed
  4. Necessary instruments could be used
  5. Performance will be open-air
  6. Special emphasis on use of human body for props and conscious use of circular stage will be appreciated
  7. Topic: (1) Terrorism (2) 21st Century (3) Goa and Goans (4) Kallaporamane Matheak Kurponne

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Konkani Pop

  1. Duration - Maximum 5 minutes
  2. Combination of dance and music, based on fusion of Konkani songs
  3. Choreography is a must. No song-on-cassette allowed.
  4. Music track cassette allowed
  5. Instruments are allowed
  6. Pop means Popular music
  7. Emphasis should be on creativity, artistic presentation and imagination

  1. Duration - 1 minute
  2. Only one participant
  3. Topic will be given on the spot

  1. Duration: Maximum 3 minutes
  2. Only 1 participant each
  3. Tell unimaginable experiences/stories in convincing manner

Proxnn Machi (Quiz)

  1. Each college will have a group of 2 participants
  2. Preliminary written examination of 20 marks will select actual on-the-stage groups
  3. Questions will be mostly related to Goa and its social, political, educational, cultural, literary, economic, historical, geographic aspects

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Budvont Vachak (Scholar Reader)

  1. Participant should choose any one writer mentioned below.
  2. Preliminary round will select participants of the sole final round
  3. Writers: Shenoi Goembab, Bakibab Borkar, Ravindra Kelekar, R.V. Pandit, Pundalik Naik, Damodar Mauzo, C. F. D'Costa, Ramesh Veluskar, Meena Kakodkar, Allwyn Gomes, Madhav Borkar, Mahabaleshwar Sail, Hema Naik.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mushtaiki (Traditional Fashion Show)

  1. One couple should participate, dressed up in Indian traditional costumes
  2. Elimination rounds will select final three best couples
  3. One couple will be selected
  4. The couple should stick to the language synonymous to the costume till last minute
  5. Replies to the questions should be smart enough, keeping in tune with the character

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lok Mandd (Traditional Goan Dance)

  1. Duration - 5 minutes
  2. Minimum 8 participants a must
  3. It must be a Goan folk dance
  4. Free to use traditional instruments
  5. Special consideration for suitable costumes, traditionality and dancing
  6. No musical cassette allowed

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Geet Tujem Gaitana (Solo singing)

  1. Duration – Maximum 5 minutes
  2. One person should sing
  3. Musical instruments allowed
  4. Song must be in Konkani; its unique selection with have special consideration
  5. A preliminary round on the first day will choose 15 best participants for the final round on the stage

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rangoli

  1. Duration - 4 hours
  2. Place will be earmarked for each contestant
  3. Participant should get their own colours etc
  4. Topic : Nature, Environment, Communal harmony

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ailem Toxem Gailem (Trio)

  1. Duration - 5 minutes
  2. No. of participants must be 3
  3. It should be similar to the style found in Tiatra
  4. Background music will be provided. However, participants are free to get their own musicians
  5. Singing, co-ordination and acting will be taken into consideration

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dhik Thaiy (JugalBandi of Goan traditional instruments)

  1. Duration - 5 to 7 minutes
  2. Maximum 6 participants
  3. Only instruments Maximum 6 participants – Dhol, Tasso, Ghumat, Shamell, Kansallem, Jagantt, Shenai, Korno, Guitar, Violin, Pakhawaz – allowed
  4. It should fit within the musical concept of Jugalbandi
  5. Jugalbandi should be primarily between two main instruments
  6. If necessary, more accompanying instruments could be used

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rattavolli (Newspaper)

  1. Duration - 4 hours
  2. Prepare two-page newspaper with 8 columns on each page
  3. Front page must have a masthead (name), and left column for an editorial
  4. Newspaper should be hand-written in Devnagri Konkani
  5. No imitation in any manner of the existing newspaper name allowed
  6. Pictures and cartoons should be drawn by hand
  7. Paper for pasting will be provided, but other material should be brought by participants
  8. Newspaper should be prepared during the prescribed hours
  9. A special report will be provided at last minute by holding a press conference
