There is no need of two types of societies in Goa at all. It is imperative that the so called “maintenance society” be scrapped with immediate effect. Only the true Cooperative (co-partnership) Housing Society should exist in Goa as is the case with other states of India READ

Mr Minister, please do tell us why can’t your “secular” Government pass a law in the ongoing session of Goa Assembly “in the interest of the general public” imposing “reasonable restrictions” on the fundamental right of Mr Muthalik and his brigade to move freely to and throughout Goa and his Right to reside and settle in Goa?READ

Need of the hour – Good Governance

Prevention is better than cure

 

These organisations have no right to call themselves Hindutwawadi for the simple reason that they are organizations and not individuals. They do not fulfill Veer Savarkar’s definition of Hindutwa nor do they fit in the Supreme Court’s 1995 ruling on Hindutwa. These organizations are using to Hindutwa ideology as a euphemistic effort to conceal their own communal beliefs and practices. They are using Hindutwa for vote bank politics and thus violating the 1994 Supreme Court guideline on Secularism.READ

Splendid write up! Most of us take easy way out and latch up on to comfy meanings. I too for long time had thouhjt the word Hindu came from the word Sindhu ie the river Indus.
