Potpooja 2nd edition in 18 days! Panel to discuss 'Nutrition in Goan Food' on 9 Mar

 

Potpooja, a recipe book on authentic Goan cuisine, has apparently created a record with a second edition within 18 days. It would be formally released on Monday, 9th March in Panaji.

Sanjana Publications has organised a panel discussion on ‘Nutrition in Traditional Goan Cuisine’ on the occasion with four veteran panellists.

The recipe book in Konkani by Usha Vaman Bale, along with a dynamic cooking time table of breakfast and food, was sold out even before reaching all the book sellers throughout Goa. The book, which was released on 15th February, thus went for a second print on 4th March.

The panellists at the book release function would be Sanjeev Kadkade, head of the department of Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology; Trupti Neurekar, dietician of New District Hospital of Mapusa; Sanjay Talwadker, writer and artist and Usha Vaman Bale, the author of the book.

The discussion would be moderated by veteran journalist and writer Sandesh Prabhudesai.

The function of a formal book release would be held at Multipurpose hall at Sanskruti Bhavan at Patto Plaza in Panaji at 5 pm.

The book in demand would be made available at the function on discount.
