Goa filmmakers want prime slots for Konkani films

 

Goa-based filmmakers today asked the State Government to bring a law to make it mandatory for local theatres to provide certain slots and prime time screening of Konkani films to promote the regional cinema.

Which konkani? devanagari or roman script. Now a demand for prime time for Marathi will be raised. This wil be followed by english which may not be mother tongue but parents tongue.
